In honor of Piper’s first birthday, I thought I’d share our most used baby adventure pieces! We are super minimalist when it comes to baby gear… but these are the things that have come with us on almost every single outing this past year! This isn’t one of those posts where you share just to share…. and I’m not saying I’ve got all the answers… but when it comes to a few essentials, here is what we used!

I’m no expert on mothering or backpacking. But, I have successfully and WARMLY camped/backpacked with my daughter (under 8 months) for 6 nights in below freezing temperatures now! Do I get a Mama polar bear badge yet?!

Although I’m a Mom, I still like to say that I’m an expert child…especially when it comes to playing outside! ha! So… I thought I’d relive a little of my childhood by writing some ideas for Christmas gifts for all those adventure kids in your life!
